Hollow tyned – these tynes are going to be left on the surface to dry, then rolled to be broken up, & then rubbed back into the holes.
Fertilised.
Rubbed in with 10 soil / 90 sand to aid with drainage.
Cut & Rubbed in several more times.
Green 1
Renovation to Number 1 green will be looked at, at a later stage, and is dependant upon how Green 2 and Green 3 respond, and of course the weather conditions.
General
The recent, overly wet conditions coupled with poor drainage create the perfect environment for fungi to rot grass roots.
The renovations scheduled for this year are based on the long-range forecast of a wet summer.
We are endeavouring to improve the surface drainage in an attempt to minimise the grass rotting.
