News Update May 2022
Believe it or not, over the last few weeks we’ve managed to finalise some of our 2021 Club Championships, with only the Minor Pairs to be completed.
Congratulations to our 2021 Major Singles Champion Rick Malley, just edging out opponent Gregg Stevens 31-25.

Our Minor Singles Champion was also decided with Peter Jones up against Chris Bradley.
Another fantastic game going down to the wire with Chris taking out the 2021 Title with a score of 31-29.

A close game in the over 65 Senior Pairs saw Paul Cable & Rick Malley finishing strong in the final few ends to take out the title over Wayne Harman and Robert Head 21-20.

Our 2021 Player of the Year has also been decided with Daniel Davies taking out the crown on 52 points.

Also worth a mention are his Club Fours team mates who all finished in the top four.
2nd place was Geoff Walker (aka The Gopher!) with wins in the Club Triples & Fours, Mixed Fours and Runner Up in the Major Pairs.
3rd Place – Dave Tyrrell with wins in the Major Pairs & Club Fours, Runner Up Mixed Fours, Semi Finalist Club Triples & Major Minor Pairs.
4th Place – Chris Bradley with wins in the Club Triples & Fours, Semi Finalist Major Pairs, Chris also taking out the 2021 Minor Singles Championship.
Well done to everyone involved in the 2021 Club Championships. It certainly has been a difficult season hampered by COVID lockdowns and numerous COVID Cases and Isolations, not to mention the dreaded rain!!! Thankyou to our Officials, Controlling Bodies, Umpires and Markers for giving up your time. We can’t run these events without your assistance.
