Saturday Triples 30th October

Another good turnout for Saturday afternoon Triples.  Looks like our greens were way too fast for our social bowlers, judging by the number of bowls that ended up on the bank!

Our prize category today was Hi Margins. With a count back for 1st and 2nd place. Both teams on a +24, both winning 14 end, both winning the last end, Team Burke winning 5 out of 5 last ends, Team Head only winning 2 of the last 5 ends. Well done to everyone and congratulations to our winners.

Next Saturday we’ll be joined by several bowlers from Liverpool Travelling Bowlers Club. They’ve already entered online and they’re looking forward to playing. Let’s all make them feel welcome!
