2019 Minor Championship Draws

Our 2019 Minor Championship draws were completed today with several changes in the formats.

All Minor championships will be a combination of sectional play and knockout.

Sectional play begins on a Sunday with the knockout rounds on or before the following Saturday.

The make up of sections are as follows.

Minor Singles – 32 entries

• Sections – 10
• 3 Player Sections – 8 (players to mark)
• 4 Player Sections – 2 (4 markers required)
• Sections 7-10 to playoff for QF position
• Format – 17 up (Final 21 up) – Respot Jack
• 8 players to progress to Q/F’s

Minor Pairs – 10 entries

• Sections – 2
• 5 teams per section
• 4 games plus 1 x bye
• Format – 13 ends – Respot jack
• Best 2 performed teams in each section to progress to S/F’s

Major Minor Pairs – 48 players – Teams randomly selected

• Sections – 6
• 4 teams per section
• 3 games
• Format – 13 ends – Respot jack
• 6 section winners plus 2 next best performed wildcards to progress to Q/F’s
