Welcome to our second bowls update for 2025. To keep you well informed of what’s happening in the world of bowls at Windang, we’ll have regular updates including our monthly News Letter, available on our Bowls Website.
PENNANTS
The draws are now out for the 2024-2025 Pennant Season. When available, the official draws and results will be found on Bowlslink . There’s a copy of the draws on our website under the Pennants menu.
The Pennant Page has had a recent update. Links will be updated when they become available. Our selectors held a meeting to discuss selections for this season. The teams for round 1 are below and can also be found on our website under the Pennants menu.
Update 1 – 15/1/25
The Pennant teams for Round 1 have been reviewed. Thank you to our members who updated their unavailability status, and also to our members who met with us today and provided us with feedback concerning their position, and in some cases the positions of players within their teams. After due consideration, both Kevin and myself have agreed to several changes. Most changes were due to player unavailability in Round 1 and subsequent rounds.
Update 2 – 18/1/25
The leads in G3T3 and G4T3 were swapped around upon request from both players.
CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Men’s Pairs were finalised last week, and congratulations to our finalists, Rob Jordan and Gregg Stevens against Paul Cable and Rick Malley.
