Windang Life Member Ken Forbes OAM

It is with great pleasure that I announce that one of our members, Mr Ken Forbes has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his service to lawn bowls.
A long standing member of Windang, Ken was a previous director, club president, and is a current life member. He has served as President of the Illawarra Zone 16 Bowls Association and continues this service as the interim President of the soon to be formed Illawarra Bowls (The unified Illawarra Zone 16 Bowls Assoc. and Illawarra District Women’s Bowling Assoc.)

On behalf of all of our members, I congratulate Ken on this outstanding achievement and thank him for his service to the lawn bowling community.
