Our 2023-2024 Men’s Fours Championship has been decided!

Our 2023-2024 Men’s Fours Championship has now been finalised.

The final saw the teams of Peter Grogan, Bob Head, Garry Burke & Gregg Stevens up against Dave Tyrrell, Chris Bradley, Geoff Walker & Daniel Doyle. Both teams featuring in the Fours finals over the last few years.

Semi Final 1 saw Team Doyle, bundle out last season’s defending Champions, Team Battersby 22-15. In Semi Final 2, Team Stevens proved too strong for Team Ellem with a decisive win 31-11.

The final started off fairly even with the scores at 8-7 with Doyle leading going into the 10th end. Team Doyle holding their nerve, picking up 14 shots to 10 winning 7 of the last 12 ends.

Well done to all who participated and congratulations to our Finalists and 2023-2024 Men’s Fours Champions – Dave Tyrrell, Chris Bradley, Geoff Walker & Daniel Doyle.
