Round 2 Open Pennants – Results
Below are the results for Round 2 of the 2023 Open Pennants. A marked improvement from Round 1 with 3 grades picking up the majority of points. Congratulations to our Grade 5, Grade 6 & Grade 7.1 sides. The best performed side again this week were our Grade 7.1’s picking up 10 points, well done! Our best performed team after round 2 is Daniel Ellem’s Grade 1 – Team 3 (2 points +30), followed by Nicolle Grogan/Janelle Jordan’s Grade 5 – Team 1 (2 points +15) & Gary Griffith’s Grade 7.1 Team 1 (2 points +12).
If you’re wondering what the “Score %” is, this is a ratio between the “For” and “Against” scores. This is also an indicator in the Bowlslink system. If we take Daniel Ellem’s team at 242.86%, this basically means, for every point scored against them, Daniel’s team scores 2.42. The goal for a team would be to have a score above 100%.
In simple terms…………….just win the game! Don’t be greedy, keep your losses to a minimum, and win the majority of ends.
At the bottom of the page is the draw for round 3. Good luck everyone and our goal for round 3 is to improve on the round 2 results.
